GFP at Brisbane Show

The Brisbane gluten free show only comes but once a year. This year it was on 16 / 17 May 2009.

And this year Gluten Free Pages were very happy to be able to attend their first Brisbane Show with the valuable support of their supporters, The Irresistible Gluten Free Show and Australian Gift Hampers!

While we were unable to be there in person, we were able to secure a stand and provide people with the opportunity to join our free gluten free newsletter and have the chance to win one of three great gluten free Gift Hampers. Another article on our Original Articles page estimates that of the 10,000 coeliacs in Brisbane, that there may only be 2,000 people fully diagnosed. By the large number of gluten free restaurants and cafes we have listed in our Directory for Brisbane and Queensland we are aware that there is a growing supply of eating establishments specifically for coeliacs and gluten intolerant people.

The only way for these gluten free places to keep providing their invaluable service is for coeliacs and their families to visit them. We encourage you to look through our directory for something new and when you visit them, please let them know that you found them right here! We also encourage gluten free businesses to advertise their products and services on their own gluten free pages listings page, which will then allow them to promote specials on our newsletter.

We thank all of the people that visited our stand in Brisbane, our Brisbane contact Leanne for setting up the stand and our site's supporters. We encourage anyone reading this article to contact us if they know of any gluten free places we may have missed or to give their thoughts on our Forum pages.
